Meetings
Turn audio, video, and live recordings or transcripts into structured meeting notes and chat with them
With Meetings you turn a recording or a transcript into a structured summary. Everything for a single meeting (recording, transcript, summary, protocol) lives in one meeting entry. Later you can search, filter, and pull the meeting into a chat as an attachment to ask follow-up questions.

The meetings overview
When you open Meetings in the sidebar, you land on the overview page. It shows all meetings in your workspace and provides:
- Search: full-text search over title and content
- Status filter: All statuses, Completed, Transcribing, Summarizing, Failed
- Source filter: All sources, Audio/Video, Transcript
- Date filter: narrow down by time range
- + New meeting: opens the source picker dialog (see Create a meeting)
While no meetings exist yet, you see the "No meetings yet" hint with a direct prompt to upload a recording or import a transcript.

What changed recently?
In version 2.23.0 (May 2026) the Meetings area was overhauled. The most relevant changes from a user's perspective:
| Area | Before | Now |
|---|---|---|
| Entry points | Two separate buttons on the main page: Create protocol (for audio) and Create summary (for text transcripts) | A single + New meeting button with three cards: Audio/Video, Transcript, Live recording |
| Live recording | Not possible, file upload only | Live recording directly in the browser (Beta) |
| Maximum recording length | 60 minutes | 4 hours 15 minutes |
| Overview of all meetings | No list; a new meeting was started directly from the main page | Overview page with search, filters (status, source, date), and status badges |
| Status tracking | Not visible | Status badges Transcribing, Summarizing, Completed, Failed |
| Chat with meeting content | Not possible | Via the Chat with meeting button on the detail page you start a chat where the transcript is automatically attached as context. You can then ask follow-up questions or extract action items right from the meeting. |
| Pre-fill of language and vocabulary | Fully individual per meeting | Still freely choosable per meeting, plus workspace-wide defaults that pre-fill every meeting and remain overridable on upload |
| Component labels | Brief summary, Participants, Agenda, Action points | Executive Summary, Participants, Agenda, Action Items |
| Interface | All settings in a sidebar, one central upload area | Guided modal flow, leaner interface |
Can't find a setting? Some options moved from the modal into the admin area under Settings → Meeting Settings (admin-only) or are still being adjusted. If a specific function is missing for you, get in touch with support. We will help directly and feed your input back into the ongoing iteration.
You can find the full release entry in the Release Notes 2.23.0.
